I have an MES 40.
When I smoke a bone in pork butt It works out to be about 21 hours in the smoker. I use a AMPS for the smoke.
I set the smoker to 245.
The pork butts that I have done have been between 5.5lbs and 8lbs. They all seem to end up taking the same amount of time?

It has two pointed probes. There are other versions of this same thermometer. One with a single probe. also there is a version with 2 probes but only one is pointed. Not sure how that can be any better than the one I got.
This is my own experience, I have a MES 40 with the Bluetooth. I feel that the Bluetooth feature is really a waste, range is not that great when I did try it. Still found myself going out to check on things anyway.
