    Suggestions? Rich just nailed it. Smoking your food has nothing to do with the caloric intake. Are you asking for low calorie recipes? My wife collects recipes and I might be able to find one or two.

    Daniel, I agree that wings are great anytime. I've yet to try them smoked yet though. Here is my wing sauce: 1 stick of butter 1tsp of garlic powder 1/4 C Franks hot sauce I look forward to trying some of them smoked, and the turkey legs too!

    Welcome to the forum. I, too, have a vertical. It's made from a 30" pipe so I don't really consider it a barrel, but I'm sure it's the same. I look forward to hearing of your smoking adventures! What is a chargrill sidewinder? I'm not familiar with that one. Do you have any pictures?

    Rotating meat in the smoker??

    raven, what kind of smoker are you using? I have a side fire box and I rotate my meats, due to the fact that the heat is coming directly from the right side. Without a doubt, the heat is higher towards the fire box. If we know what you're cooking with, we may offer a more definitive answer...
