    Looks real good! I'm surprised it's not darker than that after 5 rows of pellets. I haven't made maple yet. I guess I'm too stingy lol!

    How many pounds of sausage are you planning on making that would take 2-3 days? I can't comment on the mixer since I don't have one, although I did consider it when I was in a Cabela's and saw that it was on sale... The reviews are pretty good.

    MES30 & AMNPS

    I use the AMNPS with it on the rails. Haven't had any trouble with it jumping rows or burning too quick, even at higher temps. I've had it go out once but that's it. I really like mine. Todd will chime in and give ya some tips I'm sure.

    My smokehouse is 33x 30 but just a little over 4' tall (inside dimensions). It's made with 2x4's so it's insulated pretty well.
