    I dont ice bath my sticks either. From what I understand ice bathing can reduce the amount of shrinkage and wrinkling in your sticks resulting in a plumper stick. I like mine wrinkled so I dont bother with the bath.

    Yes, the Vivo is a great stuffer. Like the poster above I've put a few hundred pounds through mine without any problems.

    Pork Shoulder/Butt injection & bark

    I inject all of my pork butts. Applying the rub 24 hours in advance will help with the bark formation. You can also apply extra rub before putting it in the smoker. I get plenty of bark on my butts/shoulders.
