    Pulled pork questions

Hey all, Wife said to me this morning, "want to smoke some pork tomorrow for dinner?" I'm always up for smoking but haven't done pulled pork yet. I've done a couple of briskets. Is it a similar process? I'm thinking I will need to pick up a butt on the way home and let it smoke overnight...

I smoked a turkey breast for Thanksgiving and used the AMNPS pitmasters choice.  It was delicious.

Keeping Brisket Warm- Food Safety (Pregnant wife)

I smoked a 5.78# flat for yesterday's dinner, my first brisket. It was delicious. I started it at midnight and it took 16 hours and 15 minutes to be done. That was coming off at 205* but more importantly, it passed the probe test. I started the cooking at 225* so I'm thinking next time I...

    First Successful Smoke

It does to me. I used it yesterday to smoke a brisket flat and I think I got 10 hours out of all 3 rows.

    My first brisket today...

Looks real good.  I started a flat last night at midnight.  I had the temp at 220* and it's still going almost 13 hours later with an IT of 183*.  Glad I let it go thru the night.  Alarm just went off so I am at 185* (thermo set for 195*).

My "lil" grill mailbox mod w/amnps

Where did you get your little grill?  I'm smoking a brisket flat right now (started it at midnight) and it's so nice using the AMNPS.  It's inside my smoker on a shelf with foil on the shelf above over it and then the brisket on the 3rd shelf.  That's the only way it really fits in my gen 2.5...

My first attempt at brisket, not sure how to proceed.

Thinking of doing my first brisket this weekend too but have no idea where to start. I read this thread and got some ideas but shat should I look at buying for a family of 4? I definitely want to have leftovers. What is CBP? I am very new to this. Have only smoked chicken thighs, pork...

What distance can you get with your Bluetooth Redsmoke?  I measured and I'm probably getting about 30'.  For where I have to put my smoker, it's just not enough.  I would need 60' to be usable.  100' would be awesome.

Don't get overly excited about the Bluetooth.  Mine has it and when I cooked a pork tenderloin last night, getting it to connect was hit and miss because of distance.  I don't think I was even 20' away.  I've been looking for a Bluetooth range extender but no luck so far.  There are 3 classes of...

    Newbie AMNPS question

Hey all, Just got my Masterbuilt 30" electric smoker last night. Plan is to season it tonight and cook a pork loin tomorrow. Been reading a lot of posts on here and came across the AMNPS. Looks like a great idea since it doesn't appear that the MES will hold much wood. My smoker is the...
