I think this is true. But maybe you could find someone to order one for you. Most convince stores order from food service people. CF

Apply the high temp sealer, cover with scram wrap or wax paper. Close door over covered sealer. Let the sealer set up. Open door and remove scram wrap or wax paper. Worked for me. CF
You might keep a check on the scrap yards in your area. Let them know what you are looking for and leave a phone number. I know in our area lots of scrap is being sold to yards. CF
I like chicken and that one looks mighty fine. Love the color. I just cut mine down beside the back bone, leaving the backbone. Just because the back and wings are my favorite piece of chicken. CF
Never used birch never use green wood either. Think thin blue smoke, never thick white smoke. Green wood makes heavy thick white smoke. And bad taste. CF
I think the answer to that question has to do with what you like. I have done both ways and don't see much difference. Although I do cook fat down for brisket and never foil. CF
