I've done various meat's that were still a little frozen a few times and as long as its not too big of a chunk of meat I don't think there is any issues, like you I have found some advantages such as maybe getting more smoke sometimes.
I would think you could have a decal made instead of trying to attached a patch to a vehicle. I could see a patch get faded and beat up from the everyday elements fairly quick possibly.
Nice. Got some wild turkey in the freezer that I need to do something with sometime. Have thought about doing the breasts for something like sandwich meat using a brine. Used some legs a while back to make enchiladas after some time in the slow cooker to pull.
There used to be a pick your own strawberry farm around us when I was a kid. Did lot's of picking especially for our church as a fundraiser, 100% homemade strawberry pies that got sold. I'd like to start a little berry variety around the farm but got too many other projects that I don't have...
I probably need to venture across the boarder and target some again someday. So much fun through the ice on a light setup. Unfortunately I just don't know where to go anymore, been so long since I have fished it
You reminded me of cracker samiches. It was a drunk concoction I came up with camping with friends at a Steam Thrashers Reunion at probably 1-2am. 2 slices white bread, thicker sliced Cloverdale summer sausage to cover so probably 1 whole and a secon cut in half, a slice of Kraft cheese and BAM...
I'm all for trying to support good quality American Made companies and products. That being said I question certain things being 3-5x more. Yes quality counts but depending on the product is it really that much better?
Congrats. I wouldn't worry too much about issues, seems everything has its quirks. The pellet grill I have isn't overly fancy and seems like I always have something to fix and I have taken care of it pretty well by most peoples standards such as being brought inside a lot when not in use. In...
The one I know is not from pike of other, there are good bass in there but it has always been a bass and bluegill lake. Now the perch are way more prevalent than they ever were. The other lake has really seen an increase of dinky perch and the stocking reports does claim musky were stocked and I...
I got some Frag Out Flavor Fitty that is a Mango Habanero. Haven't used it much because it has been almost too hot for me but also because it made things way to hot for everyone else. So like you are suggesting this would be a good way to add heat post brine plus could add as needed to dip I...
I think you are almost best off to figure out your heat at the time of making the dip. Especially if you like to light your hair on fire, mostly because like you stated after the creamy components the spice level will get tamped down.
Peanut butter and pickle might be the "oddest" I have gotten. Have subbed in different types of pickles (dill, B&B, Spicy, etc), pickled jalapeños, pepperchini's, etc. Did some with peanut butter, B&B Pickles and Hot Honey before that were pretty good
That looks amazing! I have always wanted to fish for and taste redfish, heck almost any of the different species you folks have down there. I get the doldrums of go to spots getting wiped out, that happens up here with our small bodies getting absolutely pounded and fished out every few years...
That is making me hungry, good thing it's about lunch time, Bad thing is I probably won't be having anything that will be as yummy as that.
The setup and the bird look great, thanks for sharing
I don't know family went to a good Mexican joint after our youngest daughters piano recital last night and the oldest daughter and I had their birria taco's which are not icky. I really need to learn/find a recipe to make them at home.
That being said I would not turn down what you got if you...
That Solo Stove looks pretty slick. I've looked at various setups multiple times but can't decide. How do some of these setups work on store bought frozen pizza for those of us that are lazy or too busy to commit to making dough
I've messed with "Whiskey" barrel gimmic's a few times. I have never had a bad result but I think you are paying more for a novelty idea rather than improved flavor. Basically you are getting good quality oak that is fancier in my opinion.
