The TV does help in my case. The only trouble I have is that I either have just enough energy to exercise or to go to work. My wife and my creditors would rather see me work.
Way to go, Dave. That's bringin' her up the right way. I hope I have as much luck this season with my Grandkids. By the way, my Granddaughter's name is also Izzie.
I'll be the first one to admit, I found SMF while searching just for ways to promote my website. But after I signed on in Roll Call and asked a few questions, the response was so warm and welcoming and informing I couldn't go anywhere else. The folks here are wonderful and certainly don't mind...
I was actually planning to stay warm inside on this last weekend in Feb. Now that I've read this thread, I'm officially hungry. I guess I'm gonna have to smoke something. THANKS, guys.
I also have a Char Griller Pro w/side firebox and I love it. "Course I like to play with FIRE! Anyway, it's a great working smoker, especially after the mods.

Welcome to SMF Lee. There's an awful lot to learn here.
Good luck in your smoker research. As for me, I like my CG Super Pro w/sfb just fine - especially after the mods suggested on this forum. However, I'm not planning on doing any competitions.
Just thought I'd share my contribution to the V-Day Dinner. Everything came out incredibly tasty. And the Pinot Noir was a nice compliment to the Filets.
It's a very interesting concept, but I wonder just how many "takes" it took him do come up with the video we saw?
It's been my experience that some membranes don't come off in one piece like that, but I'll try anything once. The paper towel method has worked well for me, too.
I'll be puttin on a couple of fillet mignons for the wife and me. Along with baked potatoes, a green veg and of course a bottle of pinot noir. Man, I'm hungry already.
