    NO PELLET SMOKER YET….

    I did alot of research into pellet grills before I bought mine, and for price, construction, quality, and customer service I went with the GMG Daniel Boone.  It's a top notch, well built unit, with second to none customer service direct from the factory.

    BGE vs WSM???

    +1 on the BGE...I have a Large BGE..and it does everything either of my WSM's did ( I owned both a 18.5 and 21.5).  The egg, you put lump in the bottom, and some hardwood of choice, and like one of the posts above said...you can keep it way down to 225F for a long 20+ hour smoker, or dial it...

    Anyone here own a Green Mountain pellet grill?

    well...are you doing baby back or spare ribs?  there are methods called the 3-2-1 and the 2-2-1...just search them out here on SMF and you'll get a wealth of info on how to do them right.  For baby backs, I remove the silver skin, dry rub them with my own home rub about 20 minutes before putting...
