I'd think twice before going with something else..You basically have one of, if not, THE best smoker on the market. Many professional competitors use the WSM's. I love them. They can cook LONG, and low and slow!
If you are really having to babysit it, something is wrong. I'd take that $200...
I have a GMG Daniel Boone...they are great units! Traeger and GMG's aren't even close. GMG's are much more sturdy and heavy duty in their construction. Traegers are now being built in china.

Sandro...if you EVER need any rub, let me know. Gary and I traded Avacado's and Coffee numerous times for my rub..he seemed to really like it. Cant remember how many times we traded.
Anyway, if you are ever at a loss why your meat doesn't quite taste like Gary's...it may be the rub!!

Guys...YUP...use a probe stuck into the Sausage....the eggs are DONE when you hit 160F!
I assume runny centers could be done....just do an egg timer for a softboiled egg, and then wrap in sausage..then I'd smoke at maybe 200F and then pull them when the sausage temp hits 140F....this might...
