    Exactly....my plan is to attach the wood to the rack and then glue the FRP down so I have a smoot surface to wipe off!

    Thanks, guys! I Looked at the link for the Camp Chef clamp on shelf and it looks like it might work. I do like more of a solid surface, but maybe use a piece of 1/2 decking covered with FRP bolted to it...

    I do love pork chops, and so what better way to try my new pellet smoker...and to learn how to post pictures to the forum...than by smoking some center cut pork chops seasoned with lemon pepper? In the interest of full disclosure, I did over cook these just a tad, but the flavor was awesome...

    I snagged a Char-Griller Pellet Smoker from Lowes that someone returned and had never fired it up...and so far, I'm very pleased with the ease of use. Have done some think cut pork chops, and today did a couple of bone-in ribeye steaks along with some burgers...and WOW! Easy, and great flavor...
