    Poverty Hill Steaks (Qview)

I generally like all my beef rare but I bet I could just focus on that pretty smoke ring and love my way through one of those.

My Done Enough to Work Fridge Build

Your heat range up in the 350* area sounds wonderful as long as you can control lower temps as well consistently. I didn't understand how the top rack system was connected to the walls. It seems as though all is well there. I can't see why they might be too high. It would seem to me that higher...

My Done Enough to Work Fridge Build

I think you are very well on top of this job. I'm not the guy to ask about this kind of thing but I would think that as far as racks go, the more the merrier. You could add or omit them to fit what you are smoking.  I like the top hanging rack system that you have but it doesn't look like the...

    Minimum Temp Alarm?

Thanks. I had been to that site but then became worried that it might not be Todd's sales site. I'm a newbie ... no wait, I'm a Fire starter!    I still don't see mention about pellets there yet, nor mention about shipping being free though it seems that it is from what I have read aound here.

    Minimum Temp Alarm?

Is that link provided above the link for Todd's sales? I want the pellet version but didn't think they were available to us mortal smokers yet. Ready for one if they are ready to ship.

    MES performance question

I have to say ... as you can see from the post above, MES seems to take care of us customers. My MES 30 hit a glitch a few smokes ago when I was trying to take it up to 275* at the end of a smoke to get some nice crust on a roast and the unit could not rise above 247*. I called MES and a nice...

    Greetings from South Florida

Hello PhillyO from another Merchant Mariner. I run a 23' Parker taking folks fishing but the Parker often has some natural gas on board thanks to my love of BBQ and hot peppers.

My Done Enough to Work Fridge Build

I'm no fabricator but I love to watch projects that the more imaginative and capable (then myself) folks do. I'll be watching your build.

My Done Enough to Work Fridge Build

Seems like a natural. A large insulated box with racks in it.

What kind of Flower is this?

That fern is impressive. I have a few of them growing like weeds (in that I never planted them) around the drip edge of the house. I have a fiveV crimp metal roof so the dew drips off pretty heavy in certain areas making tropical micro zones in my otherwise desert conditions around here. The...

    Stuffed pork loin w/Qview

I love that. Kinda like a fatty but without the heart attack! LOL

What kind of Flower is this?

Oh I know that. I'm a gardener. I say about anything that grows so well on it's own, that it grows like a weed.

What kind of Flower is this?

Well then that is a heck of a nice "weed" to be growing on it's own so well for so long.

What kind of Flower is this?

Is that a member of the amaryllis family?

how did i screw up a beercan chicken

They make wire stands that you can buy to hold the can which might work well on our smoker grates.

    Where is everyone?

For those having trouble finding the "place" tab, you can just hit enter instead. Pretty cool. I can even tell when the Google Earth shot was taken. It was done in March 2010 for my area. How do I know? My solar arrays aren't on the roof yet but the panels are still in my back yard on pallets...

A "New" Age-Old Question to Ponder...

Elizabeth Montgomery was gorgeous and had great legs and well pretty much everything else. I think cancer took her some years ago. Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) had that farm girl next door appeal. She is still living and looks pretty good.
