    Yep, got it last month and I have already ran a pork loin, chicken breats and last Sunday di my first rack of ribs. All went well and I will post pics of my first butt I am planning on doing next weekend.

    I jave two large plastic cutting boards for raw meat and only use wood for the finished product. Having lived through a case of food posining any extra saftey steps are fine with me.

    Spare Ribs w/ jeffs rub just not right

    I am new to this but if the meat tasted bitter it was caused by the build up of creosote on the ribs. Try using less wood next time and look at the 3-2-1 method. Used this method over the weekend and the ribs were great.

    I had the same issue with my Perfect Flame and switched to chunks of wood and it solved the issue.
