I got a good price on chicken, so I had to cook some up. These had brine with chinese five spice and brown sugar added. Rub consisted of salt, pepper, ginger, and garlic. Finished with an apricot ginger bbq sauce that I concocted.
It was appreciated by the guests. Next time I will make my own bbq sauce. I need to try my mother's recipe on ribs. I had the time today, but my sweetie requested her favorite brand of sauce. Who am I to argue.
