    Ah yes my nomenclature was off that is what I ment, that is actually what I'm planing to insulate the INSIDE of my RF 100 gal tank that is in the works. That stuff is amazing good choice should do a lot of efficiency to your unit.

    The wool is a exhaust plenum fire wrap blanket. My idea is to hold it in and line the cook chamber with polished stainless sheat I have. Dome ends will have to be formed one way or another fab chalange is all, maybe I'll think hydro foaming if I want to get crazy!!! I'm not overly worried...

    Oh I'm aware Dave, I'm using your calculator (again) for my build, I am just trying to figure out my tank volume. Plugging my numbers in gives me the volume of a square end tank, and not my curve end propane tank. Does anyone know a way to get a closer true volume?

    door gasket

    I was just looking at my highlift off road jack (tractor jack)as a solution. Although I have a porta power type hydrolic ram also. I have a jack mate that can be used on the hi lift to make it a spreader bar (for auto rescue)or a giant clamp, thought that could be of use also.

    I was thinking the same thing. If your committed to the idea maybe only make a large enough cut out on the far left bottom of the tank for airflow so the tank will act as a baffle plate.
