    Thanks guys! The plan for this coming Saturday is a couple racks of baby back ribs. I plan on going "straight through", and then the next time I do ribs, I'll do the 3-2-1 method. I also wanted to mention that I added a couple brackets to the dolly after seeing how easily the smoker moved...

    Alright gents, I picked up my MES 30 on Thursday and Friday night I picked up some goods! 4lbs of buffalo wings, 8 premade bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and a pack of brats. (I will do my own ABTs next time) Here is a picture of the wings sitting in a rub I made (from the Masterbuilt site)...

    Sorry I didn't take a pic from the top, I was in a rush. I thought maybe the rounded corner controller on the front would have been enough to decipher it from a Gen 1?

    Noob here, been lurking for a couple weeks. I saw the Lowes near me has this on clearance, is it any good? I saw that WallyMart and Home Depot has the Gen1 (I think) for $175.00. From what I've gathered, the Gen 1 would be the better choice.
