    I tested it and it is spot on! Any suggestions on where I could put it in my smoker? I will have to drill a hole into the smoker so it'll be in a fixed place.

    I have bought the Maverick ET-733 just waiting for it to arrive!!! Anyway...I think it has a 3" stem with a nut on the back so it can be drilled into my fridge smoker. Would it be suitable to use alongside the Maverick ET-733? Also it can be calibrated. How can I calibrate it? The lowest...

    Thermometer stem size fro smokehouse/fridge

    The whole 3" of the stem sticks all the way out. Maybe 1/2" more. What would you recommend? Well, I just remembered that I ordered the Maverick 733...or whatever it is called! I still want a dial thermometer too. Do you know how to calibrate a thermometer with 3" stem?
