    Our Labor Day Pork Butt and Loin Back Ribs

    This was my first Butt and LBRs I was very happy with the result...as was everyone else ;) I didn't want to but I had was having trouble getting the temp in my pit to stay at the 225-245 range so after 14 hours of smoking I finished the Butt in the oven.

    I woke up at 2.30 am got the pit up to temp and put the butts on at around 3:15

    Combo LP grill & charcoal smoker?

    I have had mine for a couple months now there are some mods that make life a little easier with it, overall I am very happy with the Grill combo Smoker. (funny story when I bought it, I did not even know that it could smoke I was buying it for the combo charcoal grill and propane)

    yeah that makes sense, I just modified my charcoal grate to allow for better cooking since the one that came with my smoker was only for wood.
