    two slabs of spares on the drum smoked with a mix of pecan and apple rubbed down with Jeffs rub here they are at the end of three hours out of the foil and sauced with Jeffs sauce look at what i got from a guy in the wal mart parking lot for $5 this thing weighs about 40 lbs

    the dimensions are 13x12x4 yes you can still slide the ash pan out with the basket in it rests on the top pan rail and is held also by the 2 grate rack bolts

    if you are talking about the gosm i just lay the can flat in the spot where the wood box goes and add some chunks and let it roll you can drill some holes in the top but i dont think its needed

    i use cracked pecan shells for smoking i get from a pecan cracking house, there will still be a good bit of meat mixed in with the shells i use and it seems to be fine..try em whole they may smoke longer than cracked

    i cook them for a total of 4 -5 hours start with raw peanuts add water to cover add seasoning once they start to boil cut back heat and let simmer take a few nuts out at about 2 hours to taste and see if they need anymore salt or whatever seasoning you are using add some if necessary keep...

    yea like goose said i guess boiled peanuts are more of a southern thang but they are like them lays potato chips you cant just eat one...and make sure you use green peanuts not roasted if you try to do some

    for the peanuts i just used a bag of crab boil, cayene pepper and salt, let them boil for 2 hours take a few out to test to see if they have enough seasoning then add more if needed during the rest of the cook, they take about 4 hours i smoked the ham with pecan wood, if you can get ahold...
