dont get the one from wal mart, its not a big block , its a little smaller. you can find the big block at bass pro shops or amazon
if you have a bass pro shops localy go to store and pick it up if not the shipping is kinda high.... i think Amazon has free shipping
when you take an empty back to those refill stations they are examined for leaks and such.....i really think this is just some internet email BS like the cars riding with park lights on was a while back

get a weber 22 1/2 " charcoal grate, some rebar tie wire, expanded metal 5" high x 60" long , 2 bolts ( short ones maybe an inch long), 2 nuts, 4 washers big enough to not go through the expanded metal and..... first tie it to the grate then bolt it together where it overlaps
i have started doing pork loins with a modified 3-2-1 rib style
smoke for 3 hours at 225 then wrap in foil for the last 2 hours and when you try to cut it the thing will fall apart, very moist and tender
some people have installed a sentry turkey fryer thermostat on their smoky mountain smokers...i have been wanting to do that as well
i dont think its very hard to install
and yes with this mod you will be able to set it at the temp you want and it will regulate it for you
