New to the site, not to smoking!

As far as experience with my own build I have none, but following builds over the years on Facebook and forums. 1. Don't use pressure treated lumber, even if you clean on sealing it I wouldn't risk chemicals leaching out. 2. PTL is super wet so even if I didn't contain chemicals it's going to...

    Available pellets in Metro Deroit?

I'm from around Lansing and travel to Clinton township to a guy that deals cookin pellets brand. I've been using them for 2 years no issues. If you buy 4 or more bags they are $25 for 40lbs it's about an 1.5hr drive for me so I pick up 6-8 bags at a time.

    Smoke daddy

I ordered the 12" hopper from them almost 2 years ago and still have no regrets, absolutely love it. Mine is the early model so the hopper is only 20lbs but so happy with it.

Convince me not to buy this, so my wife doesn't kill me.

I have the smoke daddy pellet hopper assembly on a retro smoke and love it. Great controller that holds temp with 5 degrees but most of the time better. I can't stop you.. lol If I was in the market for a complete pellet grill/smoker it's what I'd buy... I believe he's says it doesn't do well...

Pit Boss 820 FB question RE: PID controller

I'm going to say no, I have an auber controller that I use on my offset I also have a retro fitted pellet smoker and there's no way my controller would operate the pellet. Here's a link to the pellet controller that's on mine and it's guaranteed to hold +/- 5 which it does and normally better...

    Reheat whole butt in pan

I'm gonna have to say no, this is Mark Walters and this guy lives in Georgia around the Atlanta area. He's been hosting Armed American Radio since 2009 and travels occasional to host on the road but it's normally for the firearm industry trade shows. Like the NRA convention and things
