Bear, I think I'm going to try your "great chucky" recipe even with the soup mix. I've been looking to make a roast tender other than prime rib and have failed so far in other methods. Oven, rotisserie, and just tried the air fryer. It has to be hard to wait 30hrs though haha!
I'm glad to see people have written about the air fryer in here. I just got one and did chicken twice. I love it!!! I've also done pork loin and made kale chips (3 mins) I'm looking for a good cut of beef to try. I have a feeling chucks will be tough which unfortunately is the easiest thing...
Hey gang, does anyone have a suggestion on a cut of beef roast i can use for my rotisserie? Im drawing a blank outside of prime rib for a roast that would still cone out tender.
i have an electric rotisserie and have tried some beef but it came out tough.
Hello, I just recently purchased a SV and I'm finding it difficult to fine one place that has time charts for multiple food items and wanted to reach out and see if anyone has suggestions.
thanks!
Brad
I love the taste of beef ribs but they just seen to get less and less meat on them and I've just decided to stop at least for now. I think one of the good things is if you are looking for a quicker smoke then sure but I just got tired of the price vs meat issue.
Hey Bear, I think it's important that you gave your ratio b/c initially when I read the title, I thought man those burgers are going to be a little tough. (I personally think all deer burger is)
Anyway, I was curious on your smokless grill. I read the reviews and it looks like many had...
Chile,
I ended up winning today using your chipotle chili recipe. I sent you a direct message but you probably didn't see it with the new web set up. Just wanted to thank you for posting it and everyone raved about it. It was just a work thing but I got a paid 4 day weekend out of it!!!
Yep Coopers in Austin is the best Q I've had at a public place. And the Riverwalk in San Antonio is fun. The Alamo was meh but had to check it out once (block checked) If you do the Riverwalk in December, it's great lit up
I rarely buy bbq at places anymore b/c they never taste as good or as fresh when I do it. The one place I went to in Austin Tx was really good. They had a line outside the door each day they open. It was called Coopers. I wish I knew that Franklins was there but I didn't realize that.
