Well I have always been curious about smoking cheese from a marinade. Well yesterday I did it .5 different cheeses in 3 different marinades. Everything is in fridge cooling off , however what I have tasted seems to be fairly good . This is pic from smo
i like that does the frozen bottle really help out that much , i mean i would think it would get a little warm .. but then youd still have the heat on the very top of the cheese too . i like that though , ill try that next .... i just got finished smoking a bunch of cheese yesterday ..thank you

well from my experience , i would say Ive never had the mushy consistency , to just firm it up so it is no ...so wet , always smoke a little longer ,and then if it gets to dry ,(which can happen also ) just means you smoked to long .you see i .....always... go over night in my marinade or...
hello there , well i have smoked my salmon quite a few times now ,and a lot of what i do goes against a lot of what some people say . i mean i either do the rub... or... liquid marinade and i always go over night in this. hopefully get about 12-18 hours out of this, then i will things air dry...
i have a question for you ,this Dr pepper one , do you really need to let it marinade for the extra days ,and what would happen if say i were to use hot sauce instead of the jalepenos. thank you for the information

another question for you , have you ever say when and cut your cheese to the desired size you wish for then put holes through it with something solid to have a little hole going all the way through. Then soak totally over night in either wine of some sort ... of syrup , and like you suggested ...
