    I know it's been awhile since I've posted on here but with everything that has been going on I've been pretty busy. I decided since I'm off for a while with this new baby why not do a smoke. We decided on butts because of cost. Seems to coming along.

    So yesterday I decided I wanted to smoke a butt today since its been a few weeks since I did one. I went to the store got a 9lb butt for $10 and rubbed it down. Went on the smoker at the crack of dawn. Man there's just something about the smell of a smoker going first thing in the morning...

    So I tried the smoker out. I believe the reason I couldn't keep my fire going was because of the recent rain we had. I think my wood was still wet. I got some pecan and smoked these on the smoker and fire stayed lit the whole time with door closed. It was hard to maintain the temp though. It...
