    Hey All, I just finished building a new home and I installed natural gas hookups to my grill and smoke outside. Is there any reason not to switch to natural gas for smoking? Do you guys have any recommendations for conversions kits for a masterbuilt gas smoker?

    Thanks guys. I did the foil trick but i had about 40 pounds of pork shoulder in the smoker and the flames eventually broke through the foil. it was a messy flare up. So do you put the wood next to the burner @daveomak ?

    5 pounds of breakfast sausage  4 pounds of bacon 8 hardboiled eggs 1 pound of cheese 1 onion (chopped) Smoked for 7 hours at 205 with cherry wood.

    Turkey came out great. Used Slaughterhouse Recipes for the bird and it was soo good. the meat fell off the bones!
