    Yes there is a membrane to remove and sometimes it's as easy as pork ribs and sometimes there is some fat covering the membrane making it touch to remove from the bones.

    Thanks for posting this info for all, Dawn. I have been using the Splenda Brown Sugar Blend for a couple cooks and it has worked "Splend"ed... As a matter of fact, I just told my wife last weekend what I was doing and she had no idea. A little more expensive, but it works.
