I got the Chefs Choice slicer a few months ago and am very happy with it so far. Used it to slice up some BBB and a ham. Really did a nice job. Easy to clean up also. Paid $99 for it on sale at Sears.
I have the LEM jerky cannon. I believe that is the one they sell at Academy. I use mine for snack sticks and ground meat jerky. It works real well. You defiantly get a forearm workout though!

Thanks Paul for the heads up on the grinder. I have been looking for one and have heard this one will more than do what I want it to. I ordered one to be shipped to the store near me in Houston which didn't have one in stock (save almost $15 shipping)
Thanks again!

To those that haven't read it already...I nuke my dust for 1 minute, stir it, then nuke for 1 more minute and stir. This zaps the moisture right out of it. I will be having the wife start keeping the empty juice jugs for me instead of going to the recycle bin!!

You need to look at a site called craiglook. You can set it up with your key words and it will send you emails when something gets posted that meets your search. It works really well. I have it set up looking for a used commercial meat slicer.
