I watched the video on that one, I like that it will run off of 12v. We got a new camper late last year and I don't like the cheezy grill that came with it. I'm not sure I want to smoke at camp, but it sure would be cool to have that option.
I make my abt stuffing in bulk and thaw some when I make then. It works fine. The consistency right after you thaw is a bit weird, but it goes back to normal when you stir it. I can't tell the difference in the finished product.
I did burgers once on my grill grates, they were okay, but not as good as on my gas grill. Everything else, especially steaks is awesome on the grates of my pellet grill.
I've had my rec tec a couple weeks and I'm pretty happy. It doesn't hold the temp quite as exactly as advertised but it definitely holds it close enough. I don't like how lose the lid fits, but that's the norm on this grade I think.
It's all a matter of taste, whatever flavor is best for you and those joining you is the right flavor. Our family has two kinds, our "spicy ribs" and our "sweet ribs" The kids gobble up the sweet ones, and as you might guess the rub is about 80% brown sugar.
I used to always use mustard to rub ribs in and no it didn't effect the flavor at all. Recently I didn't have any so I just patted the rib on and it stayed in place fine so I probably won't use it any more.
