    MES 40 and AMNPS........won't stay lit! PLEASE HELP!

    I am making jerky today in the new generation MES40.  I have been using the pitmasters dust in the pellet smoker (AMNPS) in my old MES30 since I could never get the pellets to burn right.  In the new MES40 I just put it in the bottom without raising it and one row lasted a little over three...

    2012 Masterbuilt Smokers - NEW 30" & 40" Models!

    My new MES40 from Sam's came yesterday and it is the new model.  I seasoned it late in the afternoon and have some jerky in the tumbler now for the first test.  I also have multiple probes set up to see how even the temps are.  I will post the outcome later when the jerky is done Gary

    Looking to buy a MES...

    I agree that you should get the 40 if you can.  I have been using the MES30 for a number of years and just ordered the new model MES40 online from sam's a few minutes ago.  I also do a lot of jerky and sticks and the room in the MES30 is limited. Gary

    Scarbelly Memorial Smokeout.

    Need to start packing this weekend to move but will leave the smoker out, ribs in the freezer will come out today to thaw out for the Sunday memorial smoke. Gary
