    Bought a master built 30 electric smoker all new to this smoking thing want to do better!!

    I have the same smoker.  I put water in the pan from the start.  I do not use it as a drip pan.  I put a foil pan on the rack above the drip.  I only slightly open the vent.  I cook everything at 275 and I haven't ruined anything yet

    I smoke chicken at 275 and then throw it on the grill.  Works out great!

    2lb chuck roast for Sunday football

    Chuckies are great!  I use fruit wood and half way through I add a jar of hot pepper rings and a whole diced yellow onion.  It is awesome!

    Help with a Turkey

    I followed BDSkelly's recipe on a 13lb turkey last weekend.  Smoked it at 240 with apple wood.  It was done in a little over 5 hours.  Smoked whole.  It was delicious!

    Oh geez....another newbie

    Hello folks- I am from Tampa and use a Masterbuilt electric smoker.  I have been a lurker for quite some time and finally decided to join and contribute.  So far I have unsucessfully smoked chicken wings and a brisket.  I was pretty good with the pork butt....but I totally nailed the chuck...
