    Did a quick burn today, used just wood, no lump or charcoal. I did light it with a torch, I am considering putting in a log lighter system. Just did grilling temps, got a roaring fire, let it burn down a bit, then grilled some venison steaks:-)

    DON'T GIVE UP:-) Keep checking your local craigs list--- people like us-crazy finatical smoker people will be wanting the new Langs and selling the old ones!!!!!!!!!!! I personally like curves, not edges, but I will say thick steel is nice!!!

    Yes cbucher, its small and it uses very little fuel! Here is the pic of the carvings as promised--I could have done better for presentation pics---BUT I WAS HUNGRY!!!! Very juicy, nice mild hint of cherry/maple, and addictive!!!!

    BIGFOOT? What does everyone think?

    We have a BIGFOOT here in Maine too! Occasionally, these creatures help me split wood, but I will say, they are not very good at identifying the hardwoods, like CHERRY? I taught one how to grill, but the big ***tard kept eating all my venison. Anyway, nice creatures, kind of moody, though?

    Made up some legs, so Lumpy is officially a table top smoker. He was wining, but I painted him up today--he's much happier now!! Tomorrow, maybe a couple of beer can chickens:-)

    Just trying to be safe, I have flushed a lumpy tank and a Knotty tank today. Basically, filled w/ water, rinsed, then some bleach, a good sloshing, then super hot water, another sloshing, and rinse, and then filled w/ water again. I am purging any gases plus neutralizing the Methyl...
