The only scrapyard in our area, let's just say he loves money. I did this run around with him once before for the 100 gallon tank. Didn't really feel like spending 500 for the 100 gallon then, god knows what he would charge for the larger one. I've seen oil tank builds on here and think people...
I also looked for a propane tank. Hard to come by. Tried fuel places, junk yards, craigslist and came up short. Firebox certainly will be 1/4 inch. Cooking chamber will be 1/8

Bone in loin done. I cooked it to 138 IT foiled and let rest. Actually will be warming back up for football tomorrow, but of course I had to take a sample piece to see if it's servable
Go figure, an all out blizzard on Tuesday and today 55, so let's fire up the mud pit. Have a bone in pork loin that the wife wanted to put in the crock pot. Ah no, into the smoker it goes. Smoke that first and then do the jerkey when I have a good bed of coals
