    Yes, we've had one for 3 yrs. and enjoy using it. Alot of what we use it for is storing bulk items in lg. mouth mason Jars. The bags are ok, but can take up alot of space and you have to be careful to pre-freeze squshable items! I ruined some filets by not freezing them first and the vaccum...

    Well, we attempted the ribs but they didn't turn out as good as I had hoped :( . I think a lot of it had to do with the choice of meat that I used. There was a lot of connective tissue and also, the fire got too hot for too long. Oh well, there is always next time and at least the flavor was...

    A good dipping/basting sauce for those would be a mix of sweet hot mustard and currant jelly. Start with 1 part mustard to 2 parts hot mustard (I use Hickory Farms). Warm untill jelly is melted and mixture combines. Oldie but goodie from Mom :) .

My husband drilled a circular pattern of large (1/2 in) holes in the lid of our ECB that could be covered by a Ball canning jar lid and used a self-tapping screw through the rim to be the swivel point. He also drilled a concentric circle of same diameter holes in the fire...
