Thanks. I'm aware of the blended nature of these pellets. I have not found any pecan pellets that are 100% pecan. Does such a thing exist and if it does, are they preferable? Will they burn as they ought or does pecan (and some other woods) need to be mixed with other base woods for the sake... -

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone and the input. I will try the following: 1. Microwave or oven bake the pellets. 2. Pre-heat the smoker with the vent and loader fully closed to 50 degrees above where I want it. 3. Make sure the AMNPS is started very well, blowing on the smoking... -
