    Why brand did you get? I love mine, I have a Primo XL. I think you'll be surprised at how well it holds temp. and how hot you can get it. They are great for homemade pizza too. Looking forward to seeing pics of your cooks!

    Buttermilk marinade

    I use buttermilk all the time for chicken and pork. I have pork chops soaking right now. You do not taste it, but make sure you wash off your meat thoroughly before cooking. It is a great tenderizer. Give it a try.

    BBQ Sauce...

    Last time I made sauce I cooked it on my Primo XL using pecan wood. Great smoke flavor. Your recipe sounds like a keeper old school. I'll have to give it a go. Thanks for sharing.
