Congrats Capt Dan on # 1000. It's nice folks like you that help us newer members get started and keep an interest in smoking meat and other side dishes. Without this great forum, a lot of us would be lost when it comes to getting questions answered and good advice.
Good luck with putting a...
Hey there Dganor. I'm with Rich, I did a brisket a while ago and used Hickory. I have a Cabella's 48" vertical gasser. I might suggest using the chunks instead of the chips for your Brisket smoke as it is a long smoke. I only used one tray of chunks on my smoke and now wished I would have...
Great looking first smoke Jon. Congrats on a job well done. Sometimes that time factor over runs meal time. You aren't the first one it has happened to and surly won't be the last. Thanks for the great Q-view and I know you will have many more to share with us.

Dave, those ribs look really good. I'm going to try my next batch like yours. I like the taste of Bull's Eye BBQ sauce also. Thanks for the great Q-view and the pics about removing the membrane.
Great rib smoke

Mmmmm....I'm going to have to try those smoked Cheeseburger's one of these days. The spares are looking good too Jason. I have done the baby back's, but not the spares yet. I'm sure the wife will want me to put some in the smoker in the near future. I'm sure that yard bird will tast good later...
