The ribs taste was good, i was wanting the beef with the bone the long direction BUT!!!

I am with Pineywoods... to good of meat to make into cheap hamburger. If anything i would wrap with Bacon and vacuum them and freeze for a month them gill/smoke again and relive the goooood taste!!!!

We were at Sams a few weeks ago and saw some Beef short ribs and as I had seen a show or a thread with them in the last few weeks had to have some.
When I opened them up I found they were cut the rib bones not along like Pork... BOOO??
Well we went ahead and rubbed them and got ready to Smoke...
HI as apposed to the smoking we are always 5 min behind so my wife pops the potatoes in the Micro for about 10-15 min, depending on size, to soften them up and then we do as the others have done with the filling.
If you have the time, smoke if preferred.... of course...
