Good after noon fellow smoke hounds,
My first of 2 turkeys and a ham is in the smoker as I type this. I wanted to have the first on in mid morning but Murphy’s Law kept me from it. I haven’t run the smoker in almost a year due to no time. I cleaned the smoker up late last week and everything...

With your time frame it will be tough to do a whole bird. I do not see any way possible to keep a bird warm for over a day in a cooler. I have taken them 4 hours away and the temp was getting close. My suggestion is to carve the bird place it in pans, and reheat it. I have done this several...
I have smoked my Turkeys beforehand lots of times. The best way I have found to do this is carve the turkey after it rests and place in a pan. When you reheat it pore around a cup of chicken broth over it cover and heat in a 350 deg oven for 30-45 min. Hope that helps ya out

I realize my reply is most likely too late for you, but for future reference. When I inject a flavor injection after brining I always do it around an hour before I smoke it. I tried doing it the night before and found I lost quite a bit of the injection.
Been there done that got the Tshirt. IMHO your better off starting in the smoker and moving to the oven. I feel you get a much better smoke flavor. Just my 2 cents
