We brined it overnight (used a brine I saw on here), and then used lemon slices under the skin with chopped garlic and rosemary on one half. The other half, we just left alone to see the flavor of the smoke. EVOO on the outside of both halves. Forgot to mention I have a Leinenkugals Summer...
Thanks Gary! I am planning on smoking a whole chicken first I think. I will probably do it similar to the way I do beer can chicken, it will just be a different way of cooking it. I am quite sure that I will have many, many questions for everyone.
