    Just finished a smoke prematurely. I plugged the MES into the wall directly and it kept heat all day. The unit has power and is programmable, the number just keeps going down and not up. Is it as simple as a heating element? Please help! I have just now got it the way I like it and my family...

    Thanks everyone!  I have a MES 40 at Sam's Club in Columbus IN scheduled to pick up on Saturday.  I have a cart on order and as mentioned before my AMAZEN pellet smoker is on its way!  Where in Indiana are you Jeff?
