    Show and tell!!

I promise you won't be disappointed.   We trim our butts,  rub them down with Jeff's rub (with a little more added)  and smoke them over fire.  No sauce needed.

    Show and tell!!

Love my smoker!   We have something going in it about every week-end.   If we grill, I'll fire it just to smoke tators.    Tators love a slow smoky cook.

    Show and tell!!

Got a masonry smoker?   Show us how awesome it really is.   Q-view time!! Did a wedding a couple weeks ago.   126lbs of pork.   Full load for my smoker.   11 hrs smoke.   Folks loved it.   Going to be a good summer!! Time to wrap.  Packed 3 deep.  Water pan has become a grease pit.    Where...

    My idea.... want yalls thoughts.

Good evening.    First off.   Do you want the best of anything smoked that money can buy?   Any meat smoked over fire and smoke can't be matched by anything, period.    Wood heat and smoke give a flavor like none other. Nothing to do with a brick smoker can be built in a couple weekends.   It...

    Masonry Smoker build- complete

That's cool thing about masonry,  it will hold heat for a long time. As you get used to how it wants to work,  you will love it even more.   The possibilities are endless.    Welcome to a flavor  no one can match.  Nothing can touch a wood fired smoker.

    Masonry Smoker build- complete

I love it!   You did an outstanding job!    It not hard to build a brick smoker, it just takes time.   If you start with a plan, it will work. Look forward to seeing more awesome meat come out of your smoker.      I know firebrick are expensive, but it would help to hold heat meaning the...

Gotta love a cool night and a full smoker

LOL!  Thanks Kevin.   I'm getting to old to pull them all nighters.   Started at 12am,  took the pork out at 11am,  Put 121  pieces of chicken in for 3 hrs was set up at the wedding by 4pm.   Fun , but if I sit down I'd been asleep.   Folks loved it, thats all that matters.

    My Brick Build

Looks really good.   Be sure you have enough support for your racks.   Two to three butts can weigh up to 24-30lbs.

    Offset vs vertical

Good evening Wake, I myself have a vertical.   I really like it.   As with any brick smoker, it holds heat really well in the winter.  Once up to temp, its just smoking as usual.   Best I remember there are a couple builds on our page with off set.    My input on my vertical.   It take a lot...
