Something A Little Different: Taco Pizza (Q-View)

Taco pizza is a favorite of mine. Love it. Great take on it, may have to make one myself now soon. Its relatively common at the pizza joints around me, even Taco Bell has one, but none are as good as homemade!

    Don't Smoke meat from Kroger?????

Kroger meat is about all I smoke to be honest. Ours is a "Fred Meyer", but its all Kroger products. Pork ribs, beef ribs, brisket, rib roasts, all cuts of steak, its all Kroger. I usually dont buy tri-tip from them, its expensive at around $6-9/lb. We have a local restaurant supply that has...

lookin for new 4 probe or more that can graph

Mine lives on the Traeger and it hasnt had any issues yet through the rain, snow, and frost. Range has been excellent for me, as in it connects to my wifi and I have monitored my cook from across town. Probes are as durable as the other inkbirds I've used, never had a problem. Other than the...

lookin for new 4 probe or more that can graph

I have the Inkbird waterproof wifi 4 probe unit. Its a good unit, but it has some quirks. I routinely lose graph data and I lose connection whenever the alarm goes off. Its odd. Other than that its been great.

    lets talk griddles !!

I have a 36" Blackstone. The cover is a must imo, very nice when its windy out after a cook to cover the griddle and keep debris off it while you eat then come back and clean. Rear grease trap is awesome. Couldnt ask for more.

    Prime Rib Confusion

Mine usually take around 3hrs with a quick sear at the end. I run them on the Traeger to start then sear on my Weber gas. I'm usually doing 6-8lb primes without the bones. The key is not weight so much as it is size. a 15lb and 8lb prime will take the same time to cook if they are of the...

Anyone make the switch from charcoal? Experiences?

I kinda did the opposite. My first smoker was a Traeger and I eventually bought a WSM. Different smoke profiles. I like the ease of the pellet, but it doesnt put on enough smoke for me usually. I need to get a tube for it. The WSM is where I do all my beef, it just comes out better in my...
