Just ordered a baffle plate and a seal kit for my tmle. I have had it for about 3 years but its time to get my cooks under control! Anyone purchased the baffle plate from bbq smoker mods?
The real question is.... are you basing your temps off the stock therm on the unit? I use a digital thermo at grate level and base all my cooks on that temp. The thermo that came with the TMLE is always 75-100 degrees higher than grate level. Basing your cooks on the temp reading from the stock...
Thanks guys! This is the rub I went with. I didn't do the injection but I'm sure it would taste great!
Cooked 11 hours on my brinkmann TMLE and I let rest for an hour. Turned out phenomenal!
