    Well just got my 1st butt ever started at 6:00 am. Hope it will be ready before dark. Another small 3# roast and some chicken breast to throw on latter.

    Well the ribs are looking a  lot better than the Colts right now. Time for some foil. Yes I have been watching a lot of the pitmasters shows recently, trying a Johny Trigg trick with the butter and brown sugar.

    Sunday test smoke / St. Louis ribs on new WSM

    Looking good! You will love the WSM. It gets easier to use the more you use it.  Mine seems to run best with top vent 1/2 open and just one bottom vent 1/2 open and the rest closed.

    What a great day! Low 80's, sun all day, and the WSM going as I do some chores. Cleaning deck, garage, etc. Here's the babybacks with 30 minutes to go. Can you see the sweet corn below them? Already pulled off a pork loin, cut up and vacuumed sealed for the freezer. I always forget to take more...

    New WSM 22.5!!!

    I got my 22.5" a couple weeks ago, also from Amazon for $399. Free shipping but took 5 days. 1 pork loin so far with Salmon on the menu today. Going out shopping for some casters today to make moving it around easier.
