i have seen that done but you have to make sheur that they are off the bottom of the fire box so if you go for the really long smoke that they will not be coved up wiht ashes
cool im going to order 2 of them one for the meat temp and one for grill temp ........if people did not think i was crazy before wiht takeing pics of my meat now they really will
the water test is putting it on boiling water and seeing what it reads ......water boils at 212 at see leave so if you are up or down you need to ajuest but it is a pretty easy way .........you can also do the ice water test just fill a glass with ice and water and it should read 32
where did you get that deboys i want that if that is really what i think it is a remort control thermometer ........where did you get it and how much i need one
i was in need of a prob thermometer and went to walmart to get a Taylor becouse of how they are talked about here like they are something god put on the earth for the poeple to who like to cook......but they did not have any Taylors ...they use to have them but now all of there thermometer are...
ya i was going to use the spray of honey and butter but i was doing it at my cabin and forgot my spray bottle so all i did was rub it with butter and i also found out that it helps to let the birds drie out some before you rub them in butter
i have grilled a pizza ......a couple to miney beers at the cabin and no stove propain for the stove = grilled pizza ..... i think it was ok not that good but idk it was different
