They are a pretty thin rack of ribs. I'm going to wrap them for a half hour in butter, brown sugar and honey with a little maple syrup a dash of rub and then glaze them with a nice sauce.

You know we forget sometimes how good we have it here in America. Land of the free. But freedom has a cost. We all must carry our share of what it takes to keep us free! I had a family member from Italy ask why so many American flags fly on our homes. My mom, who is very religious said "Unless...

I know right. In 1996 when I saw the movie Platoon. The tears I couldn't control. The emotion for those boys and what they survived was a lot to feel. It's a 20" Weber kettle.

The smell of clean smoke and the temps a close second. I'm at 287 now. No visible smoke. The smell we all know and love is clean,. It is so nice to be able to buy what we want and enjoy life as we please. Freedom, how we have forgotten what it cost. I know you have smelled clean smoke and how...

Hi Jim, I always wanted to go to MS when I lived in Crestview, FL. Thank you Sir and I do miss the souths way of acknowledging people. Keeps everyone humble. We live in the freedom capital of the whole world. Simple is good and that's how I look at bbq. Clean smoke, good meat and a little...

Am I the only guy here that his wife rolls her eye everytime I come home with a ham? She eats beef and chicken only for meats. Irish people, they haven't even invented a spice they like. AmIrite?:emoji_grinning: And a potato is not a main course...:emoji_stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Hello from Cape Cod, MA

Hi Masssmoke, Nice to see another Masshole here. I used to live in Belchertown when I was a youngster in the early to late 70's. Then my family moved to the Cape. Wish I would have known about Patriot Pits. I would have ordered one of theirs instead of the Workhorse I have coming. I...

    Hello from Cape Cod, MA

Hi Chris, We got lucky and just had some wind gust. We lost power on and off last night. But only for a few minutes at a time. I'm waiting for it to slow down to put a rack of baby backs on my kettle. Cheers.

    Hello from Cape Cod, MA

Hello everyone, I'm from Cape Cod, MA. What got me into smoking meat is how much I like bbq ribs. Been cooking with fire for about four years. I use a Weber 22" kettle, Summit and Smokey Mountain as well as a Pit Barrel cooker. I mostly cook with lump charcoal, but do keep a few bags of...
