    My take on ABT's

That's amazing. I grew up in Ruch and moved to the Applegate some years later. I went to Ruch grade school when it had only 2 class rooms for 8 grades... About a mile down 238 from the school there is a vineyard on the left side of the road. That is where we lived and it was a dairy farm...

    My take on ABT's

    My take on ABT's

This is a little extra work but is much easier for eating. Jalapenos cut into 3/4 inch rings for bite size servings. Tips saved for beef enchiladas. Here are the ingredients for the filling. Chopped onion and venison bacon with cream cheese. Filling put into a quart size zip lock with the...

I want a Big Block GOSM, but where to find?

If you have a wal-mart close to by you can go online and order store to site without any shipping costs. Pick it up at your store and check out before you take it home... I just bought a 30" MES that way... Took about 6 days... Gary...

    Salsa throwdown

Here's a salsa recipe I posted a while back. Since the post I have made it several times and everyone has loved it. It works well in pulled pork sammies as well as our fish tacos that we have about once a week... It's different but a pleasant change... Cabbage Salsa...

    Fresh Cabbage Salsa Recipe

I have been working on a fresh cabbage salsa for a while and finally got it close to where all my family like it. I also use it in the place of coleslaw on pulled pork sammies... 3 cups cabbage (chopped) 1/3 cup tomato (diced) 1/3 cup onion (diced) 1/3 cup pickled jalapeno (diced) 3 Tbs...

Too much smoke!!! Help me out please.

I have a GOSM and had the same problem using chips. I started experimenting with larger chunks and found that cured the problem. I make my own with my band saw cutting them about 3 inches square. I use 2 of the larger 3 inch chunks and a couple of smaller ones. Hope this helps...

    sams vs wally world foodsaver

Several years ago I was shopping for a new TV in Denver. I went to 5 different places and was looking for a specific make. What was interesting that I found 3 different models of the same TV. The model numbers were the same except for the last letter. Some were "A" and so on. I finally found...

26 hour , 10 lb slab of side bacon smoke

I use a 1000 watt hot plate I got for $15. Remove the rack for the chip pan and place the hot plate on top of the burner. I wrap the wood in tin foil and place on top of the hot plate which is turned on high and maintains a temperature of 75.

I have 3 of them and they work great. Never had any problems. I take my remote to my shop which is about 80 ft away from where my smoker is with a free standing garage between and not problems receiving a signal.

    other than the net?

I'm with Geek too... I have access to all the cherry, apple, almond and pear I can store. If you have any orchards in your area just stop by and see if you can get any of their pruning. The only thing I have to buy now is hickory and mesquite.

    can't keep temp. down

This is the best mod I made to my GOSM. Go to your local hardware store and you should be able to get all the parts. Your connection parts may be different as you have a different make than mine but they have fittings to fit all different threads. I did have to go to an appliance store to get...
