    Nothing like a relaxing cook to get the blood pressure through the roof. I've had 2 Jams in my pitboss, I had to take it apart use a pipe wrench to work the auger free, put some sand paper to it to clean it up.

    Never used one either, but I dont think you need to soak wood, wonder if that white smoke you seen was just steam. Other than that I really can't comment because i have no experience with that set up.

    You could make the pulled pork ahead of time and freeze or if it's just a few days keep cold in fridge and just reheat in pans.

    I agree with rich, wouldn't go past the date to much if any with pork. You can freeze it if the dates are close to expire date.
