Help with procedure for defoiling spares
I have the same foil problems . I cut my slab into 2 or 3 sections and when I wrap them I usually mange to poke a pinhole or larger in at least one of the packets , I tried heavy duty foil and still had a hard time . For a batch I'm doing tomorow night I've bought some disposable aluminum pans... -

can u freeze corn on cob ?
I froze some one year off the cob . First I blanched the ears , then an ice bath and cut the kernels off . Bagged them up and froze long enough to freeze liquid and then vacuum sealed . MES not heating
I second looking at the terminals . I know when it happened to mine (before I checked the wires and before I knew this forum ) I spoke to Masterbuilt and the lady seemed quite knowledgable about the unit , she said she had never heard of an element going bad and she doubted that was the problem...- jsdspif

Can someone tell me what's wrong with my 'mater?

My 30" MES died...suggestions?
My guess would be the female spade terminals that connect to the heating element have disintegrated . If you do whatever it takes to get into the little box containing the wires for the element you might find that's the case . Somewhere on the forum there is a nice post with a lot of photos...- jsdspif

My Pug gets weird when I fire up the smoker

It seems to me you wouldn't want much airflow ?I was thinking maybe some type of brushless d.c. fan , like for a computer ? A little c.p.u fan or something of that nature . propane for propane smokers
Another thing about exchanges , I guess they are still only putting 15 lbs in them , because the display near me got a new sign that says something like "20 % more for free .
