    Critical welder question!! - bought a Lincoln Weld Pak 100 - is it enough welder??

    This little Lincoln should get me through my  scuba tank build for now. I have been in the welding shop numerous times looking at the Miller 140 and 180 MIG.  I just couldn't convince myself to "pull the trigger" on a new welder yet.

    Danny thanks man! so the first pass is mostly burned to the thick piece -second pass ties the first bead to the thinner, should two passes be enough?.

    Dave thanks!,   would you agree I need to cut out the baffle in the firebox?   I just took another look out the outlet pipe. It is actually an oval shape where it is welded to the firebox, so if I cut the  outside end at a matching angle it will probably help, but it will be tight trying to...

    The Feldons pit calculator says I am 10% too small on the firebox  and a little small on the firebox to cook chamber opening -is that going to be a big problem?

    Dave, the air tank build was how I found this forum. The two mini builds I have seen are BBQDad and Huntington County Customs. Not sure if they are same person but I had found a video on Youtube when I was researching mini smokers. I could not afford a nice offset and there are none to be found...
